The Georgia Athens Waterproof Work Boot is an 8-inch, soft leather, lace-up boot that you'll wear all day.Part of the Athens Collection, it features the Georgia Boot Waterproof System to keep your feet dry. Georgia Boot offers a 100 percent guarantee.The Athens collection offers both comfort and stability. Anchor Disk Technology by Georgia Boot® includes a TPU stabilizer with a built-in shank that absorbs shock and provides additional support and comfort in the areas that need it most.Georgia Boot's AMP™ (advanced memory polyurethane) insole is a unique dual layer of polyurethane on the bottom layer for maximum cushioning and a memory foam top layer to ensure the boot's insole is custom molded to your foot.Additional touches of comfort come from the EVA midsole, padded collar and padded tongue.This boot's rubber outsole resists chemicals, oil and slips. The Georgia Boot warranty does not cover damage due to holes worn in toes, burn marks, punctures, cuts, and abrasions from outside causes or misuse and/or abuse by the wearer. The warranty may be void if the user applies any materials not recommended, such as polishes, oils, or other chemicals that result in damage to the materials of the footwear. All products must be returned and inspected before FULL CREDIT is issued or a REPLACEMENT of the same or equal value is given. GEORGIA BOOT DOES NOT PRO RATE OR OFFER PARTIAL CREDIT. This is my second pair of the Athens boot that I am reviewing. My first pair was probably 20 years ago. I've bought many boots since then and have decided to come back to this boot. I really don't know why I have chose any other boots than this boot now that I have this pair on. They are comfortable right out of the box. I like my boots pretty tight and I did have to wear them a little loose for the first few weeks to get them worn in but now I can tighten them as tight as I want them.

My husband works in a lot of water and mud and continued to come home with wet and cold feet from water getting in his boots. I purchased these boots about a month ago and he loves them. They are comfortable (he says they are the best fit he can remember ever having) and waterproof. My only concern is that they last longer than his other boots.

I bought these for my husband for Christmas. His old ones were falling apart so bad, he had to epoxy them together again. He put these on and was immediately impressed with how comfortable they were. He works in all weather situations, so the waterproof feature was top priority. His workday is a bit easier to get through now :) 100% would recommend.
