Seems to taste better somehow.
I'm not really sure why it should make much of a difference, but I do honestly feel like this tastes just a tiny bit better than normal white sugar. It's a subtle difference and may not be noticable in many things, but it's nice in the things where you can tell. It keeps the same as regular sugar and doesn't cost that much more at all, so I don't see any reason it couldn't be used as a general all purpose sugar too even in things where you don't notice the difference.
