This fixture is understated elegance and will enhance any decor. The description was somewhat misleading to me—the overall diameter is 24 inches; blade span is 20 inches. The wiring is color coded for easy assembly, quality is excellent including the blades. The fan is very quiet. Installation will be easier if you place the fixture in the hanger, position the receiver and then complete the wiring. It is a beautiful fixture,
