This unit is extremely LOUD!!. No seriously! We have to turn the TV way up, use earbuds when on the phone, and have missed people knocking on the door. The units arrived heavily damaged though tgey seemed to operate ok. The unit also leaks if it isn't installed in the window juuuust right. The features are really good and the remote works well enough, and it has a very clean look and goes well in the home. So we really wanted it to be great. We bought 2 units and are giving one away and had to buy another one as it is just too loud for the bedroom and leaks too much.
