Adults and children 12 years and over: 1 caplet (1 dose) every ½ hour or 2 caplets (2 doses) every hour as needed for diarrhea. 1 caplet (1 dose) every ½ hour as needed for overindulgence (upset stomach, heartburn, indigestion, nausea). Do not exceed 8 doses (8 caplets) in 24 hours. Use until diarrhea stops but not more than 2 days. Children under 12 years: ask a doctor. Drink plenty of clear fluids to help prevent dehydration caused by diarrhea

Do not use if you have: an ulcer, a bleeding problem, bloody or black stool. Ask a doctor before use if you have: fever, mucus in the stool. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are taking any drug for: anticoagulation (thinning the blood), diabetes, gout, arthritis. When using this product a temporary, but harmless, darkening of the stool and/or tongue may occur. Stop use and ask a doctor if: symptoms get worse or last more than 2 days, ringing in the ears or loss of hearing occurs, diarrhea lasts more than 2 days. If pregnant or breast feeding, ask a health professional before use. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away

Worked Worlds Better Than Immodium!!!
The pills are a bit on the larger side, but Pepto Bismol Ultra rescued me after 2 weeks of diarrhea from my IBS-D that Immodium couldn't even touch. Immodium used to help, but these 2 weeks were severe, and I needed something that was strong enough to work in 1 or 2 doses. I had forgotten about Pepto Bismol, a medication that I took in my late teens and early 20s, until I saw the Ultra on the shelf of my specialty pharmacy. It was too expensive to purchase there, so when I got to my car, I placed a Walmart order, and it was at my door by the time I got home. Literally 1 pill later, and I was able to stay out of the bathroom the entire rest of the night! It worked like a charm, and now I know who to turn to when I'm having tummy troubles!! I went back onto Walmart and ordered 2 more bottles or it!
