Troublesome freight forwarder

The main problem was a bad experience with shipping. The forwarder submitted a delivery date with a 4 hrs window. They never showed up and the delivery was made 2 weeks later. Upon receipt of the shipment, the carton was badly damaged and one of chaise was damaged. Furthermore, it was shipped with the wrong cushion color. Hayneedle's customer service did however compensated with a discount for my troubles. As for the products - the cushions was typically Made in China junk with lots of loose threads. The chaise was acceptable.

OK chair for the money

Pros: Aluminum Multiple pad covers Wide Seem to be well built Cons: Pad slips down instantly Cross brace hits you right in tail bone These chairs are very wide, like 2.5 feet, which gives you lots of room to sprawl or even share if your partner is thin. Pretty comfortable, except for the bottom cross brace at the hinge. I don't understand why lounge makers insist on putting the hinge point so far behind the bottom cross brace. It practically guarantees that you will feel the brace when sitting in any position other than completely flat. The pads seem to be sewn and trimmed well, and are thick enough to be comfortable. However, the two Velcro straps aren't near enough to hold them in place. They slip all over the place when you sit down and are easily lifted by wind. We had a strong gust of wind come up and the Velcro quickly gave up and the pads went flying. Luckily I was home and caught them before they vanished down the block. I am going to buy some 5' buckle straps (see your outdoor sports retailer) to fasten them to the frame at the hinge point. Getting two sets of pad covers is very nice since that is typically what wears out first with a lounge.
