Was well made and easy to wash. the size is great because as you chop, slice or shred, there is plenty room to move your cut items to the side as you finish the rest of your food prep. The life of a cutting board is brutal....with wood or plastic I would probably need to replace it quickly or be concerned with contamination seeping in the wood or plastic shredding off as I use it over period of time. I cut as normal but afterwards some faint cut marks/scratches remained. will it be scratched all up or if I use my special veggie (sharp plastic) knife the surface will be ok. It is very large , well made and great price . As advertised, I will not have to worry about bacteria build up like wood or plastic boards, This smooth METAL surface takes care of that concern. In total it looks like its heavy duty weight comparable to that of a wooden cutting board and its big size will be quite busy as a go-to prep tool in my kitchen.
