I absolutely love this addition to my collection... it has a fascinating character and unique personality that is unlike anything else that I have. The Miyota 9039 running at 4 Hz lends a sophistication and elegance as it smoothly sweeps; the various facets of the applied markers and reflective surface surrounding the Atlantic Blue dial provides endless captivating sparkles and interesting plays with light; the individual minute marks penetrating the dial to give hints of the surface below - it's just a singular work of art. Add in the beautiful, sculpted case design and molded lugs, plus the presentation case back, and numerous thoughtful additions like the jewel and the adorned crown - its' truly a magnificent watch overall. I added a stainless deployant bracelet to mine, (partly to retain the pristine condition of the original band), but it really makes the dial pop, and the blue even more prominent. Owning it has made me want to obtain an S2 now. Hats off to Timex for an absolute winner, a total statement piece.

My first watch at 5yrs was a Timex. I strayed to different brands as I got older. Most were in 4 to five figures. The reason I wanted a new watch was simple: I did not want another battery watch. So, I saw the ad for this watch. I fell in love with it. It fits my small wrist perfectly. So, I bought it. Now, I never saw it in person. When I opened the box, I fell back in love. So, I started out with a Timex and now at 72yrs old....I am back with Timex for Life. I am so sorry I left Timex. Now, this watch catches attention where ever I go. To sum this up, I am going to be finally happy to wear a watch again. Thank you, Giorgio Galli for renewing my Love for Timex!!
