T-Rex Engineering Replicator Analog Tape Delay Module

While the quality of tape delay emulators has come a long way, nothing beats the sound of a genuine magnetic tape delay. With the Replicator Analog Tape Delay Module, T-Rex brings the unmistakable analog tape sound of their award-winning Replicator stompbox to the synth/keyboard/studio communities.

While the Replicator Analog Tape Delay Module is based on the original stompbox version, a number of parameters and features have been modified specifically for Eurorack use. T-Rex has added CV ins for controlling delay time and/or feedback electronically. Paired with your preferred wave generator, Replicator Module offers the perfect marriage of 70's analog ambience and modern sound manipulation. Additionally, a new filter switch dampens high frequency content in the delay signal, for less noise and a darker echo sound. The power supply has also been modified to the +/-12V Eurorack standard.

Two playback heads offer 3 modes of operation (short delay, long delay, and combined), and a tap tempo control offers an additional and intuitive method of controlling delay time on the fly.

Like its stompbox sibling, the Replicator Analog Tape Delay Module is handmade in Denmark, and uses a durable, easily replaceable BASF C30 1/8 in. chrome tape cassette (2 cassettes are included - additional cassettes sold separately).
