Very lightweight, but really holds warmth in- I usually end up throwing this off as it warms up overnight (we live on the coast and the cold snaps don't last long.) It is a very light silver gray color. If you look at the pics, the window shades are a true gray, the pillow covers are a very dark true gray, and the octopus on the headboard is a dark silver gray. (The crab should show up as bright orange and the throw pillow is a coral color with true white design.) The quilt is sewn well, and has not come unravelled, and the pattern is very pretty. I think it would work well with many bedroom themes. Right now am using with a blanket underneath, but will remove and use alone during the summer.

I love this bedspread! It's a beautiful color, comfy and cozy. I have a queen bed. Because of the reviews I got a king size, am glad I did. As you can see, it fits the bed perfect. I gave t washed it yet so I don't know how it will hold up. Note* I had this wall tapestry and it goes with it perfectly.
