I am glad to see that Swanson Health Products carries Inosine 500 mg. capsules now. . . . And what a great price! - - - Especially at their current Special of 50% Off. I first became familiar with Inosine over 30 years ago. A bunch of guys I knew from the gym used it and liked it. They took it along with their other Workout Supplements, Amino Acids and Protein.I took it back then, and I'm taking it again now. . . . I take 2 to 4 capsules along with my Arginine, Ornithine, L-Glutamine, and Whey Protein. Just as it states in the product description on Swanson's website, we find that, as a precursor to Adenosine, Inosine supports energy needs, especially when working out.I don't know of and have never heard of any downside to Inosine. If you have extra energy / strength needs, such as working out, playing sports, or just doing hard, strenuous physical work, I can recommend giving it a try with your other supplements prior to your physical activities.

I have trouble feeling fully awake even with caffeine, etc. This makes me feel actually awake and functional. Really great supplement.
