I suffer with chronic pain, and it had become very difficult to crochet during the past couple years. Happened across the Bamboo Handle Hooks after trying others - MANY!! These are the MOST comfortable hooks I have ever used! Recently I had 'misplaced' (HAH!) my J size, and I TRIED to crochet a couple of rows with the old aluminum handle I'd ALWAYS used previously. It was horrible! I could not get the hang of it, without causing pain! I will stick with these for as long as they're on the market! I already have replacements for most of the old ones.
