This is InSinkerator's best disposal yet. We purchased it to replace an earlier, similar, model that failed unexpectedly due to an odd circumstance: A small, brass screw from one of my wife's kitchen tools wound up going down the drain my mistake. Sadly, it got jammed between the impeller blades and the inside cylinder and could no be removed. The new one, like the previous unit, is very quiet and incorporates all of the company's latest features. It has a 10-year warranty. I cringe a bit when spending over $400 for a disposal! However, this is a very high=quality appliance.

Easy replacement for our 20yr old 1/3 hp original build Insinkerator. Upgrade to 1 hp not necessary but LOVE the quiet aspect and absolutely disintegrates all bones and waste I can throw at it.......have not tried the beef bone test yet, but so far pretty bullet proof!

We purchased this garbage disposal to replace an old one that had to be removed. I was reluctant about noise, with such a large motor, after doing the research I decided to take the chance. Wow, am I glad I did. This garbage disposal is quieter than the tap water hitting the stainless steel sink bottom while it is running. Tried some chicken bones in it and it made a little more noise but the bones where gone in 20 seconds. This comes with a seven year in house warranty, is priced competitively with the home improvement stores, and was delivered within 3 days. What is not to Love about that? Installation was simple, it is well engineered, and well built. We are very happy with this product.
