Quiet, Easy to Install

I replaced the leading brand name disposer, 3/4 HP, that lasted just four years. What a steaming piece of junk. Looked around at various reviews and found the Waste King highly rated by individuals and reviewing blogs. Two things I really like about this Waste King unit: it is QUIET, much more than any disposer I've had in the past, and installing it was so easy! No more struggling to hold up a heavy disposer with one hand while you grapple turning the mounting ring with the other (or using a car jack to hold it up). This thing was a cinch! I'd buy if for the mounting technology alone. I have not had it installed long enough to comment on its longevity.

im a 48 yr. old mother of 3. i consider myself pretty handy. found this very easy to install. took abt. 3 hrs. total. i had to pull my dishwasher out first to reach outlet, then reconfigure dishwasher hose to disposal because it was installed wrong to begin with. disposal mounted easily to sink basin. would have taken me less time, but i included the time it took to run to the local hardware store for pvc extension because my drain pipes did not line up due to a different configuration with the previous disposal. very happy with its performance. shipping was very prompt! and all parts were included.
