Good EMERGENCY shovel
I've seen the complaints that this is too small. This is intended to be a compact, collapsible, emergency snow shovel. Granted Walmart's description does not go into enough detail, but a little research will tell you that this is only 8.5" wide. It is meant to be kept in your vehicle for occasional use only, much bigger and it wouldn't be compact enough. The blade and attachment to the handle is all aluminum, so much stronger than a lot of the plastic ones you see - especially in frigid temperatures. The handle design allows for multiple configurations. This is my second one of these as I gave my first one to my daughter to put in her car.

other review discounts the purpose of this shovel which is to fit in a truck. it is not a daily user but for specific uses. personally keep it in my truck and was super useful for shoveling out the inside of an uncovered boat
