Instructions
Cooking Jasmati® White Rice **1 1/2 cups water **1/2 tsp salt (optional) **1 tsp butter or olive oil (optional) **1 cup rice **Bring water to a boil. Add salt and butter or olive oil, if desired. Stir in rice. Cover with lid; reduce heat to low and simmer 15 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand (covered) 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork and serve. **Yields approximately 3 1/4 cups.
