Stokes green chile sauce with pork and jalapeños
I have used this green pork chile with jalapeños sauce for probably 25 years and still feel it is the best and most unique on the market!! You can buy it with or without the jalapenos. It has wonderful creamy green chile flavor without being bitter like some sauces are. The flavor is perfect with just the right amount of kick! They also make a green pork chile stew which is equally good, plus other products. I use it in most of my Mexican recipes and even add some to my Gazpacho! It is the closest to the green pork chile sauce that was made/used at my favorite old Mexican food restaurant (La Hacienda), in the old "Five Points" area of downtown Denver, CO. I believe the sauce is either made in or distributed out of Denver. To me, a burrito isn't a burrito, etc. without this sauce!! Noel
