Sterilite 12 Gallon Hinged Lid Industrial Tote, Stackable Storage Bin, 18 Pack

I have purchased 24 of these totes. First to use in my classroom for storage of supplies, books, etc. Later for Christmas items, grandkid's Lego, Cars & Trains collections, and storage for merchandise, display items for my store. I find these "tubs" to be durable, the right size for me to handle, I can always find the lid and they're perfectly stackable, to the point that I need more of the yellow topped ones (stuff that belongs to grandkids - the red topped ones are for my stuff). The problem is that there seems to be a shortage of them. I sure hope that is a temporary situation!

This tote is sturdy and gives you the opportunity to secure the lid via two holes, one on each end. I used zip ties. The only problem - and this is user decision error - it is not watertight, even zip-tied. I used the container on a trip. It was in an open trailer. It did fine on the first leg of the trip, but on the way back home, it rained, and everything in the container was soaked. I should've known not to trust a hinged lid, but didn't have anything else. Not really the fault of the container. *I received this product as part of a My-Take research study*
