Well, then explain to me how it is these beans, simply compressed into my espresso machine and hit with hot water......can make a brew that bring me back to life eaxh and every morning (no barista needed), The same delicious magical concoction as at the cafe. You, too, can believe in magic.

Pike Place is excellent when mixed with milk or cream. Drinking it without something to take the bitterness out of it is an unpleasant experience. Taste-wise, it's not impressive. Veranda has a better taste and more of a caffeine kick. Pike Place smells good when it's being poured. It doesn't taste like a premium coffee. I think are better coffees out there, but lack the Starbucks name. In other words, what I'm trying to say is Pike Place is overrated. Good coffee, but not worth the $20 I paid for it.
