Starbucks Espresso Roast, Ground Coffee, Dark Roast Hot or Iced Coffee, 28 oz

Pike Place is excellent when mixed with milk or cream. Drinking it without something to take the bitterness out of it is an unpleasant experience. Taste-wise, it's not impressive. Veranda has a better taste and more of a caffeine kick. Pike Place smells good when it's being poured. It doesn't taste like a premium coffee. I think are better coffees out there, but lack the Starbucks name. In other words, what I'm trying to say is Pike Place is overrated. Good coffee, but not worth the $20 I paid for it.

My husband loves the richness in the flavor of this coffee. It's a lot more of an energizing coffee than any other we've had also. I'd normally spend $20 for a 40 oz bag from Sam's but it was out of stock at my local Sam's Club so I went ahead and bought the 28oz bag for $20 at Walmart.
