I purchased these Staples Washable Glue Sticks for my nine-year-old, and overall, they're pretty good for her schoolwork. The box of 36 is a great value, and they're perfect for art projects, homework, or just keeping on hand for spontaneous crafts. The glue is clear when applied, which is a nice bonus, and it's non-toxic, so I don't have to worry about her using it. That being said, it's not without its flaws. The glue can sometimes get a bit too liquidy when applied, especially if the stick gets warm or has been used a lot. I've noticed a little bit of excess ooze, which can be a bit annoying. And while it's supposed to be washable, it doesn't come off fabrics as easily as I'd like. It works fine on paper, but it's a bit of a hassle to get out of clothes or off furniture if there's a spill. All in all, these glue sticks are great for schoolwork and general crafts, especially for kids. They're affordable and do the job well, just be ready for a little clean-up now and then!
