High quality tool

It's very heavy which is what you want with a plane bench. The handles are ergonomic and feel very nice in your hands. The adjustments are very easy and standard. This bench plane is essential to anyone you does custom furniture and cabinetry work.

Great addition to any shop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Size is very useful, especially for work outside the shop. Needs a bit of extra tuning out of the box - the sole was a little rough for my taste - but on the whole it's extremely well made. Very happy with this plane.

Great precision & smooth cutting

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You can tell as soon as you hold this item that it's another great Stanley product. The blade allows for smooth & precise cuts. The only change I would like is a larger opening for your hand. I have large hands & it's a little tight but still works great. This will be another Stanley product that will last for many years.
