Love this!

So I purchased this cookset about two months ago and it works great! It has a wider base than the ever so popular adventure cookset which provides more stability on most backpacking stoves. I love the included mug/bowl I usually just us it as a bowl because it is kinda large for a mug but still can be used as one. The only thing I would what different is if there was an included metal lid as the lid it came with works but due to the sip opening for the mug still let's out some heat and the depth of it can sit in the water or whatever else you have in there. The problem can be easily fixed with some foil really but would be nice if it was included. It works great for car camping, but if you aren't concerned too much about the weight it also works well for backpacking though for longer hikes the weight could be an issue. All in all this set works amazing!

Don't buy ANY cook set until you read this ...

I have field-tested over 10 different camping cook sets looking for the best overall backpacking set-up. I initially purchased the Stanley Adventure All-In-One Boil + Brew French Press and was very impressed with it. In fact, many of my fly-fishing friends purchased the same unit after watching me use it during a 10-day salmon fishing trip in Canada. However, when I saw the 24 oz. Camp Cook set with the insulated nesting cup, I was impressed with the simplicity of the large nesting insulated cup and the dimensions of the stainless pot. This has quickly become my favorite cook set because I can brew a large cup of pour-over coffee and it will stay hot for over an hour - giving me time to heat water for a packaged meal or to cook something over an open flame. Because of the larger diameter of the pot, I can use my Trangia spirit (alcohol) burner along with a lightweight homemade windscreen, or I can place the pot over a small fire or hot coals. Very versatile when trying to conserve on fuel. One additional bonus I've discovered; the Adventure SS pot slides into my folding Lixada Ti wood-burning stove and fits like a glove. If I use my Trangia inside of the Lixada (along with the Evernew Ti Cross Stand), it works very much like a Caldera Cone without the high purchase price. I'm just angry at myself for not finding this cook set sooner - that I wasn't the one who developed and patented this design - or had an affiliate agreement with Stanley products ... because everyone who sees this cook set will want to buy one (or more) for their BOB, EDC, and backpack. Bottom Line: the Stanley Adventure 24 oz. Camp Cook Set is the most versatile backpacking/car camping cook set I've found. It is virtually bulletproof, holds over 30 oz of liquid if filled to the top, has a nesting insulated mug, folding spork, and polymer lid with strainer holes and a sipping vent. Gram for gram, it is simplicity and efficiency at its best!

AMAZING SMALL POT

Amazing product for making small soups and oatmeal, nice steardy little spork. I would recommend for those who cook outdoors.
