I started with a Space Saver Walker...to assist me with a balance problem I have. It is easy to transport but the wheels are non-turnable and when you collapse it to transport, it has a strong tendency to open side to side. i was looking online and discovered that Able Life has a Rollator walker that collapses smaller than my Space Saver. In addition, it has wheels and a buckle strap that wraps around its neck when you close it to hold it closed. The Space Saver Rollator is just a few pounds heaver than my other one, but the HUGE DIFFERENCE is it has movable wheels in the front, and locking handbrakes on each side. The Space Saver Rollator is extremely easy to manouvre and moves under your direction effortlessly.

I discovered this walker while scrolling on social media. I was 47 when I had my stroke and getting use to being disabled is all ready depressing. This walker helped alleviate some of that. It is functional and beautiful. The taller height allows you to stand up straight instead of hunched over. The seat is minimal with no cushion so it's only for short rests. Aesthetically, it's the pink glow for me! She catches the glimmer from the sun and lights a room. Now I wear pink just to match her! I get compliments all day, everyday. But the real star is the ease to close. My stroke affected my main side on the right. But even with my non-dominant hand, I can fold this. And it folds vertical not horizontal like a traditional walker. That's the game changer. I absolutely love this.
