I needed this because I have very active dreams and move around a bit while sleeping. I have woken to find myself falling from the bed. I hit my head on the nightstand once. This has stopped these falls. Added bonus is it you can pull yourself out of bed real easy with it. Folds down out of the way for bed making. Really well thought out product, worth the 80 bucks

This is an extremely well designed and sturdy built device to keep my elderly mother from slipping out of bed. I had watched a video that explained the straps go under the mattress and then thread around the bedframe on the other side, so once we flipped the top mattress up it was easy to install. Surprisingly my 93 yr old mother can reach over to flip the rail down herself, but its easier on her for someone else to do it which in our case isnt a bad thing. Now the absolute best feature of this whole contraption is the storage pocket wrap! Someone was really thinking when designing this. We were impressed enough to research other aides from Standers and are ordering the couch Assist a Tray
