It was easy to put together really. Lightweight and easy to handle. I bought two. Perfect for cat litter (I suggest crystals because the odors definitely stay trapped better than clays and crystals last longer, however any can be used- fits one full bag depending on size-1 8lb crystal cat litter bag). It came with grips for bottom in case you need them and the extras are nice, granted I don't need them right now. Love the dustpans. The ledges help shuffle of cat litter on paws but it ain't perfect hence the extra pieces which help better. It locks easily if needed- say you're worried a child might bother it as a curious one while they visit- It has an out entry on top and pulls apart easy. Just need carbon packets. Very nicely sized too. My biggest cat looks happier that it's just a bit bigger than our plastic ones were, even if not by much. If you're looking to avoid hard cleanup, want to lessen pet smells, etc, try it! I was pleasantly surprised at the quality.

Love this litter box! The stainless steel design is so much easier to clean than plastic, and the removable top makes scooping simple. I just wish it came with a stainless steel pine/pellet sifter and that the top opening were a bit easier for my cat to access from above, since the design of the top door makes it difficult for her to use.
