Great for kids of all ages
This is just plain fun. I already put the sticker on a trunk of mine, there's little Easter eggs all over the box, and the two modes, one led and the other ultraviolet, are extremely useful. If you have glow in the dark stars on your ceiling you can use the UV to recharge them faster and make them glow brighter. I opted to remove the AA adapters and put D cell batteries in instead. I just prefer the heft and balance more. I'm going to put the adapters in a military surplus angle head flashlight to reduce its weight because I take that one hiking and camping. Although you absolutely could take this one on outdoor excursions. Don't let the fact that this is more marketed to children fool you, it's an aluminum body led/uv light in classic retro style for $20. Great for scary stories around a campfire or a power outage during a storm alike. Buy one for you and each of your kids.
