Lenox 20353SSRK1 UTILITY SSRK1 RETRACTABLE KNIFE 5BX

When I started in the electrical trade a year ago, one of the fellas had these. Seemed pretty good so I got one. One year later it's one of my favorite tools. It's tough, easy to change the blades, and easy to use. On our 8 man crew, three of us now have this knife.

My brother is a carpenter and recommended Lenox tools so when I needed a new utility knife I picked up a Lenox gold fixed blade utility knife and have used it hard in multiple home renovations. It gets banged around quite a bit but holds up great. I was very impressed with the actual blades. The first day I used it I cut through composite trim, drywall, and hardened wood filler and it was still crazy sharp and didn't chip or break. I don't try to abuse my tools but this thing has been stepped on, dropped, had other things dropped on it and doesn't crack, bend, or break. I haven't owned or used one of the retractable models so I can't speak for those.
