Splat makes my black hair darker and my white hair a vibrant purple. It looks as if I paid hundreds to get this variegated coloring, when all I did was splat it on %26 rub it in. It lasts 6 months. It fades slightly (I use cheap shampoo) but the 1st 3 months, in sunlight, my hair glows!!!! This stuff is AMAZING!!!
