The directions showed it would take two people 30 minutes to put this cabinets together. I actually thought it was going to come assembled, but it was easy enough. It took me three quarters of a footballs game by myself. You do need to supply your own Phillips head screwdriver, but I prefer that to hex keys. I think hand tightening is best because you could over do it easily with a drill. The MDF is very soft. All of my parts were in order and labeled, but no spares, so hang on to all of the hardware. It's a very nice little cabinet for the price and I am very pleased.
