Press and release lower button to turn off. 2) Gently glide bristles back and forth against the teeth/gum surfaces without pressing hard for about 2 minutes while brushing your teeth. Replace brush head every 3 months. Failure to do so could lead to brush head breakage and that could cause an injury. After every use, rinse brush head thoroughly. I had purchased a different electric toothbrush elsewhere for my child, and was disappointed that when the battery died, it couldn't be replaced. The batteries that came with this toothbrush only lasted a few weeks, but I was glad that they were easily replaceable! My son enjoys using this toothbrush, and I love the fact that it alerts him when he should change what part of his mouth he should brush. It has four 30-second intervals for him to brush the top right, top left, bottom right, and bottom left teeth. The spinning head on it does a much better job than a regular manual toothbrush, and the glow in the dark stars on the handle are added fun for him! Very happy with this purchase!
