These are just perfect. I bought 2 of them in black, giving me 4 filing drawers, which I actually use the 2 bottom ones for office supplies & stacks of paperwork and the 2 middle ones for filing. I love the top 2 drawers in which I keep my pencils, pens, stapler, stapler refills rubber bands, you name it. This leaves the top of my desk completely clutter free. We purchased a board at Lowe's, covered it with black felt and use it as a desktop laid over the 2 file cabinets which makes it a perfect height! Situated this between 2 of your tall black bookcases on 1 wall. Love the look!

I am a bookkeeper at a Primary School and needed a lockable cabinet. Love that the file cabinet fits under my desk and has that top drawer to lock up my incoming money. It says it's a pencil drawer, but it is 3.25 inches deep giving plenty of room to store my money bags I receive. Only the top two drawers lock and honestly you can still pull them a little, but it still meets my needs. In my opinion it could hold the drawers in tighter. The two bottom drawers hold hanging folders and the sides come up so you can use them for storage as well. The cabinet is shiny black and looks nice. It came fully assembled, I just had to put the handles on. I did have about a 12' place on the top of the cabinet that looked like a scuff mark, but doesn't wipe off. It had to have happened before or during packaging because it was well packaged. I am not going to return it because it will be placed under my desk and will not be seen anyway. The cabinet cost $57 from Wal-Mart, Good product.
