Fine Product: Miserable Set Up
The product is quite nice. It's small, color looks similar to the photos and seems of reasonable quality for a piece you assemble yourself. I gave it four stars because the directions are DREADFUL. And this is not a case where SouthShore just used some random instructions developed in a non-English speaking factory. These are customized, SouthShore instructions and they are not good. I set up three of these, and despite doing this multiple times, I made a mistake every time because there was always something in the directions that wasn't specific, clear or useful. So yes, I will quickly forget the pain and suffering of assembling this and it should serve me well. But wow, I would have loved to give this 5 stars and rave about how much I like South Shore and how easy they made this process. Instead I'm grumpy and annoyed and probably won't look to SouthShore for future products.
