I thought these would be flimsy, but would work fine for my fairy gardens. They turned out to be sturdy with customizable heights. I have only had them a couple of weeks, but they appear to stand up to weather (wet, hot Ohio). I'll report back if I get rust, but in the meantime I'm planning to buy another set.
