this rug is super fluffy and incredibly soft not to mention the colors are so very pretty!!! it reminds me of sherbert and cotton candy! I still can't believe how soft it is!!!! I want to put it on my bed and sleep on it!!!

A beautiful rug, especially for the price. It arrived folded, so had some concern about it laying flat, but it was totally flat within a few days. The purple in it is not as dark as the picture, it is more like dark lavender, which is totally fine for us. I think the tie dye effect causes the dark purple to blend with the lighter color and so it's overall lighter. It's padded as well, about as thick as a decent potholder. I followed the instructions to have it lay flat, and let it air out in our garage. I honestly didnt notice any strong chemical smell at all, maybe a faint smell of glue. But, after leaving it in the garage for the 48 hours, there was no smell. It does have the little rubberized bumps on the bottom to make it stay in place, but it does slide around a bit on our hardwood floors. But it's not a big concern for me and my daughter is very very happy with it.
