Unspectacular Versions of some spectacular songs

With few exceptions, I was pretty disappointed at the mostly lifeless versions, very laid back performance of such spectacular songs. Seek out the original versions (if you can find them). One highlight was a close to original rendition of Chasing Cars. Sound quality is excellent and if you are a SP fan, you may enjoy the lounge-like sleepy takes ti wind down a busy day...but not their most exciting effort.
