The power that the vaccum has, is great for the sand and blown debris that get in our above ground pool that is 20'× 16'×42". The only thing is you might want to clean the filter after about 20 minutes after if you notice that it is not picking up as much. That is the only thing I have found as a down fall. Though it is very easy to clean the filter and maintain it, but I would order an extra filter to just clean both filters after I am done with the pool.
