Allevyn Gentle Border Lite is a silicone gel adhesive, hydrocellular foam dressing incorporating the unique, triple-action. Allevyn technology for use on low to moderately exuding wounds. The dressing is suitable for use on fragile skin as the silicone gel adhesive allows the dressing to be changed with minimal pain to the patient and trauma to the wound. Gentle Border Lite is indicated for wound management by secondary intention on shallow, granulating wounds, chronic and acute low exuding wounds full and partial thickness wounds such as pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, infected wounds, malignant wounds, surgical wounds, first and second degree burns, donor sites, skin tears, and fungating ulcers.
