I LOVE this thing! I'm trying to cut down on creating trash (aka razors) and have done both laser and electrolysis.... if you have never tried waxing or electrolysis, this thing will be an absolute torture device. However! If you know what it feels like to have every hair ripped out after having hot wax applied to your lady bits, you got this. The first time you use it, go slow (it's obvs not as FAST as a wax but obvs it pays for itself pretty much immediately). I started with my legs (which I've only ever shaved) and had about 2 weeks worth of growth - certainly took a minute to get used to but got into the groove and had to touch up the next day or two. Now that I have a routine, seems like I only need to use it once/week at BEST - same with the pits. The first time is hardest because you have ALL the hair to remove. If you touch up every two weeks or so, it's easy peezy. For you waxers out there, I say get one last wax then start touching up with this. The idea is the same - these are electric tweezers ripping the hair at the root and hair has multiple cycles. When it grows back, it's a baby hair with a fine point (unlike shaving which creates a blunt end). It is a bit awkard around the lady bits and depends on your style (full braziallian, bikini, etc) but is easy to get used to for the bikini. I wish I'd gotten one years ago! The light is a huge bonus and I love that I can use it dry, making it super easy to catch the one missing hair.
