Anolon Advanced Home 10 Quart Hard-Anodized Nonstick Stockpot with Lid, Nonstick

EXCELLENT STOCKPOT. This is my third Analon stockpot purchase in 7 years. Analon improved this stockpot since my second purchase 2 years ago. THIS NEWER STOCKPOT IS IMPROVED WITH A THICKER NONSTICK INTERIOR COATING AND HAS MEASUREMENTS ON THE INSIDE. IT COOKS EVENLY AND CONSISTENTLY AND RESISTS SCRATCHING BETTER THAN MY OLDER ANALON STOCKPOTS.

This is actually my second pot. I have been impressed with the nonstick features of the Analon brand, I will go more into that towards the end of the review. I have used this pot for stews, making cherry pie filling to can, caramel corn. Sticky, thick, or gooey, everything GLIDES from the pot. I recently made the mistake of putting the burner on high while making a batch of pie filling in the pot, causing it to scorch. I was devastated by my mistake (both for the pot and the filling I was making). I ordered the same pot to replace the scorched one, planning to pass the scorched one onto my son. I decided I would try to remove as much of the scorched area as I could before giving it to him, imagine my surprise when I was actually able to remove it all!! (using a rubbermaid scraper, elbow grease and perseverance). My son now has a great pot to use, as good as the new one I bought to replace it. I am truly impressed with the overall quality of the brand, and the non stick feature that can survive a scorching. I should have taken pictures!
