Excellent result
I installed Smart tiles, the metal panel and smart edge for a nice finish. The tiles installed fairly easily, but take some time to figure out the best way to minimize small cuts. The metal panel is nice and I am glad I got it, but I had to add small screws in the corners to hold it flat (which actually looks good). Hoping it survives the winter , which is why I wentt for original Smart Tiles instead of cheaper imitation

Easy update to back stove panel
Really loved the idea of this and after installing we are very happy with the product. It is well made, very sturdy and just high quality. The plastic cover on the front face kept it safe and clean when it arrived and allowed us to play around with it in the space before install and not worry about scratching it. The piece did come bent at the bottom but we were able to hide that behind our stove so even though that wasn't the best we were able to work around it. The sticky backing wasn't enough for this to stick so we had to remove those with a razor and replace with something a little more durable and strong. Not a big deal. Also the stick foam pieces are thick and were sitting over the edge so you would have seen them peaking out the side.

Easy installation, looks great
This installed very easily and looks great. We originally purchased it to put behind a back-less stove in a rental unit, but ended up switching to a regular stove. We had already ordered this smart panel so decided to install it anyways. After installation I added two finishing nails at the bottom for a little extra support just in case it wanted to slip. Getting the protective coating off the front was a bit of a workout. Also the panel arrived slightly dented and we were not able to get it totally straight, however we were able to position the smart panel in a way so that the bend is hidden.
