At first glance and first touch, I thought that this little bag would be too flimsy for carrying drinks especially more than one. I decided to fill it up with some canned beverages and it filled out nicely, closed nicely, and wasn't flimsy at all. This kept my beverages cool for an extended amount of time—long enough. I was able to fit 4 regular sized cans (or 6 if just those sizes) and 2 mini cans. I also tried to add more to include some meds inside and they fit just fine (see pic). I positioned them lying on their sides and standing up. I preferred standing them up as it seemed to make a tad bit more room. There is a small front pocket that something small could be inserted into as well. The handle is secure on the bag and it seems pretty durable. This could also be used as a medical bag. Add a small ice pack and meds that need to be temp regulated (e.g. epipens, inhalers, insulin) and you'll be good to go.
