Slumberjack Men's Outdoor Down Puffer Jacket 2X-Black, Rain Repellent

I have heard a lot about puffer jackets, and I couldn't wait to obtain one and try it out for myself. The Slumberjack Outdoor Puffer Jacket has a sporty look to it and feels very comfortable. This 800 fill-power down jacket kept me very warm outside with temperatures ranging from 50 to 60 degrees and is great for the fall weather and cooler temperatures. It is lightweight, and I enjoy the fact that the jacket self-compresses and can be packed up neatly into the interior chest pocket for traveling and safekeeping. The fleece-lined, zippered exterior pockets are also a nice feature that kept my hands warm. This jacket has a durable water-repellent finish and will probably do well in light rainy conditions. I found the two large interior stash pockets to be very useful for carrying my cell phone and other items. For me, this lightweight jacket is a game changer because it provides sufficient warmth, and I don't have to carry around my heavy coat - which can sometimes weigh me down and feel uncomfortable after wearing it for long stretches of time. All in all, this jacket exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend it.

I was happy to receive the Slumberjack Down Puffer Jacket in exchange for my honest review. First I have to say what a quality item this is, the construction and material are top notch! The jacket is so light weight but crazy warm due to the down. I love the fact that it is water repelling, Chicago Autums and winters can be down right wet. It has plenty of pockets with 2 zipped outside, one zipped inside and yet another open pocket on the inside. I think it may run a bit on the big size but I like that since it gives more room and I don't feel so restricted. I would recommend this Slumberjack Down Puffer jacket to anyone living in a cool to cold winter zone.
