I appreciate the accuracy of Stanley tape measures. My wife and I we're hanging a mirror, and she was using the tape measure while I held the mirror for way longer than necessary. She said, “it's three little black lines past where it says 24 inch number.” And you know what? It was actually three little black lines past the the 24 inch number. We successfully hung the mirror on a nail that didn't hit a stud. I suggested that we use a proper mirror hanging device, but she said that she's used a nail before and it worked just fine, so I did not protest. I just wanted to get back to watching football in peace. So far, the mirror remains suspended on the random nail we found in a drawer. In other news, I have successfully commanded my forces from my Stanley walkie talkie for many years. The antenna can always be counted on to deploy and retract quickly, and works from any radio frequency designated by a little black line.
