The Skilsaw Folding Miter Saw Stand was shipped from a third party seller, which, if I would have bought directly from Acme, I would have gotten a $10.00 discount. The package was delivered by Fedex and arrived, apparently, torn open. The Fedex driver took a picture of the very damaged package with his phone, and I said he should take a picture of the damaged end. I also said, "I hope parts aren't missing.", to which he said, "they're probably in the last truck." Two parts were missing; the work stops. I called Walmart and was told to contact the shipper, and if no help from the shipper, call back within 48 hours to Walmart. I emailed the shipper and they told me to send pictures of the MISSING PARTS. After I replied to the shipper that the parts are missing and therefore could not be photographed, the shipper said it's Walmart's problem. Walmart gave me a $15.00 promo code for an online purchase of $25.00 or more and later refunded 15% of the item's cost. I was very satisfied with Walmart's response, but still need the two missing work stops. I appreciated the effort the people at Walmart put into giving some degree of resolution to my situation, but found the third party shipper disturbingly unhelpful. I tried to make an online claim with Fedex, but I couldn't because I don't have an account with Fedex.
