Wow! The design is even better looking on my window than what's represented on the online photo! They are heavy duty, sheer yet not 100% see through (when used with blinds) with a great plaid-like design. They do look more red than burgundy when you first see them out of the package, but look better on the window, which is what matters. When the sun shines through the window onto these curtains, it gives off a tint of color through the room. I only bought one panel for each window and fit great
