Pleasant Surprise

I really didn't know what to expect with these noodles when I got them. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the taste. They didn't have that gummy, starchy taste that you get from most store bought noodles. They were perfect for making ramen bowels, I like that the noodles didn't continue to expand and alter the taste like regular spaghetti or angel hair pasta noodles. They soak up the broth perfectly and I will definitely be getting these again.

Something different for dinner!

My family and I really enjoyed these noodles. We made a stir-fry with some broccoli, onions, peppers, and some other veggies. Tossed it all together with the noodles and some spicy teriyaki sauce. Absolutely delicious. The noodles have a unique texture and cook quickly. Nice to be able to make something different than I normally do. My only criticism is the shrinkflation; the box is only 14 ounces instead of the standard 16 ounces.

Thick , yummy and versatile

The Simply Asia brand Chinese Style Lol Mein noodles are fantastic! I have had a terrible time locating the perfect lo Mein noodles for the past few years, as they don't sell my old brand anymore on the market, so I have been using whatever is around - having the worst stir fry ever. I'm so glad I was able to test the Simply Asia brand. I have seen it advertised online, but I was unsure to go ahead and buy, I didn't want to be disappointed. After trying the Chinese Style noodles, I am hooked! I made stir fry last night , using the recipe provided in the box, but I doubled the ingredients and added my own special sauce mixture. It was the best stir fry I have had in a long time. The noodles, are a little thinner then I'm used to, but after I cooked them, they were sturdy, didn't split and fall apart, not soggy and gross, and best of all - absorb the sauce very nicely. I am planning on using the rest of the noodles for homemade ramen noodles. I would highly recommend The simply Asia brand to any Chinese cuisine lovers. These are absolutely delicious and I'm sure I can use this in many other dishes in the future.
