PORTER CABLE 6-Amp Orbital Jig Saw, PCE345

I had a ball using this with my friend. I needed two dressers taken down. He whipped through them both in mins. I am not sure you will see the images and the scraps on the floor. It was not that loud either which was a blessing. I would say this came right on time for my needs. What I found good was the safety of this unit. I was shown in one simple step how to remove and store that sharp blade. Trust me I am not doing it but you sure can. It's super easy to hold while using. I know it does not matter to most people. I have to have things store easily for later use. This was able to slip right in the same box it arrived it. I am not sure about being allowed to say this. If I had a man to gift this holiday it would be this. I am making myself an ottoman and another computer desk. Thank you for the blessing. I am sorry for running on. I love this drill.

The Porter Cable PCE345 6amp jig saw is a basic “no frills” jigsaw for someone who does not use one very much and doesn't need super fancy cuts. So there's no light, dust blower, and the angles will be limited. There ARE orbital setting though for making cutting through different materials easier. That being said it's a solid unit, and very good quality. It's more a mid-range level, not exactly the cheapest most basic, and has a lot of things going for it. It feels very well made and there is not a lot of vibration when compared to cheaper saws. I found it easy to control. If you are an occasional user of this saw I'd highly recommend buying the extra blades now and keeping them in the box or wherever you store such things. 6 Amps also means this thing is very powerful. It's going to be able to handle whatever job you are throwing at it, and it can do it very precisely and speedily too. The manual that comes with it is actually pretty good if you don't use saws like this much. All in all, this is a great buy and perfect for me. Love It!
