Cooking Instructions:1. Whisk together 8 cups water and soup mix.2. Bring to a boil.3. Reduce heat, cover pot and simmer 20 minutes.Slow Cooker Method with Beef:1. Put 1 pound cubed uncooked beef chuck in slow cooker.2. Stir in 8 cups water and soup mix.3. Cover, cook on high for 3 to 4 hours, until beef is tender.Check that product is cooked thoroughly. I love this mix! I have been using it for years! It is getting harder and harder to find- so ordering it with a pick-up at Walmart is fabulous! I follow the initial directions on the package using small cuts of stew beef. After the initial simmering, I add additional vegetables and a whole bottle of V8 juice. Mmmmm. Delicious! Enough for multiple meals and sharing!
