Eastwood Spot Weld Pliers

I purchased for use on my Lincoln MiG 100 Weldpak, it works very well on 16 and 18 guage mild steel, I drill a 3/16” hole through top piece, set gas at 10, wire at 4 3/4 and C for amps, clamp pieces together, cut .030 wire flush with nozzle, center on hole and trigger for 1 plus seconds, instant weld done! I am sure it will do the same job on thinner mild steel with different settings from above info., “practice makes perfect”

I bought the 175 MIG and ordered this at the same time. I got a chance to use it a couple days ago on the 72 Jeepster Commando that I am rebuilding. I used it to spot weld the old hood latch holes with some 16 ga sheet metal as a backing and it worked great. I also used it on some holes in my grille and used a homemade copper backer that worked great. Glad I bought it.
